Dear SWYSC Parents:

Please note that Gavin Park is enforcing the parking restrictions on the road leading up to and including the back lot. This Thursday, June 4 the park has requested that the Sheriff's Department ticket all vehicles not parked in appropriate parking spaces.

CLUB WANTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2009-10

The Saratoga-Wilton Youth Soccer Club is governed by a Board of Directors (max. of 14, min. of 9) elected by the membership each spring. The health of the Club depends in large part on the energy and commitment of its volunteer board members. Board seats are open to any member interested in declaring his/her candidacy (see requirements below). This year, all 14 seats are open. Newly elected Directors assume office in July.

Application Requirements

Any member who is at least 19 years of age, is not a paid employee or contractor of the Club, and is a “Member in Good Standing” may declare their candidacy for the Board by submittal of a timely and complete application. Candidates shall supply, as part of their application, a statement of qualifications (100 words or less). Applications are due by June 8, 2009, and should be sent to President Peter MacDonald via e-mail ( ) or mail: 42 W. Harrison St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The Election Committee shall review and approve each application before including the name of the member on the Final Slate of Candidates. The approved Slate of Candidates shall be submitted to the Board of Directors for final approval.
