My wife and I, along with my brother and parents, were in attendance at the USA vs. Argentina match held at Giants Stadium on June 8th, 2008.

Saratoga Wilton Soccer Club U-16 Boys Nordic Cup Champions !!!
The U16 boys won their Division at Nordic Cup in Burlington Vermont. Nordic Cup is a regional tournament with teams from VT, NH, NY, Mass, RI and ME.
In the Semifinals Saratoga United beat NH fire 3-0. They won the Championship by beating Liverpool Eagles from Syracuse NY 1-0.

The SWYSC Saratoga United, U14A Girls went on to win the 2nd Round of the State Cup this past Sunday April 13th in Putnum County against the JPSC Flames 2 -0. They now advance to Round 3 and have won the home field advantage.
They will play on April 27, 2008 1:00pm at Gavin Park against Washingtonville. Come watch the excitment!

It was not a typical out door tournament day. The temperature was in the 40's; it rained, snowed and rained again. The team was huddled under blankets on the side line to keep warm. The conditions were not ideal but the play on the field was. |

The SWYSC Boy's Under 10's, the Saratoga Sol '98, recently competed in the Quickstrike FC 8v8 Soccer Tournament down at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton, NY. The team took third place, ultimately ending the tournament with the second best record on the day of the six teams that participated.

U10 Boys Team perform well at Fall Tournament! The Saratoga Sol '98 Boy's U10 soccer team, coached by SSHS Soccer Coach Jeff Geller, competed in the Guilderland United Soccer Club Halloween Tournament. Despite the rainy weather, the Sol managed to score 20 goals and only allow 3 in four games. |
