The Saratoga Sol '98 Boy's U10 soccer team, coached by SSHS Soccer Coach Jeff Geller, competed in the Guilderland United Soccer Club Halloween Tournament. Despite the rainy weather, the Sol managed to score 20 goals and only allow 3 in four games. The team defeated Guilderland, Bethlehem, and Clifton Park while playing an additional hard fought match with the Albany Alleycats. Players on the team were: Chris Brewer, Nick Cavotta, Connor Fenoff, Gavin Gaynor, Dean Hereijgers, Stephen Klimek, Tyler Klingenberg, Justin Klotz, Jake Milstein, Kyle Newton, Chris Rice, Max Schynoll, Ian Starnes, and Will Turner. The tournament was organized to help raise money for the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
