On Sunday, December 30th, Saratoga Storm U12 Girls Soccer team emerges Division II champions at the CDPHP New Years Cup Tournament at the SportsPlex of Halfmoon.

As a newly formed team this fall, these young ladies had a steep hill to climb. This is a diverse team of girls, some of which had never met before. The love of soccer may be the only thing they all have in common. Hours of disciplined practice and endless motivation from an outstanding trainer, Miguel Hoyos, played a key role in their victory.

Coaches Tim Rousselle and John Marko believe this team has a bright future.
