We are now in the process of registering PLAYERS, MANAGERS, COACHES,  and ASSISTANT  COACHES  for  the  2008-2009  Travel soccer  season.  All registrations MUST be done on line by a parent.  The only form that needs to be downloaded this year is the NEW MEDICAL RELEASE FORM. 

REGISTRATION PROCESS
All players will be registering as travel players this year.  Only a very few players will be asked to register as REC PLUS.  Coaches will inform these players that they will be temporarily rostered as REC PLUS for now and will be converted to travel in spring. They should be told to look for the REC PLUS team with the coach’s name when they get to the pull down box for “team”.  IF the player is definitely playing indoors and being rostered to a travel team in the spring, we will collect the full payment of $225 NOW.  If you definitely know that the your child WILL NOT be rostered in the spring (they will leave and play baseball, or lacrosse)….you will HAVE TO PAY BY CHECK ( do not pay by credit card)  and will only pay $100… The Club will reconcile your  registration account when we receive the check.  If are a player that ONLY wants to play outdoors……the PLAYER will absolutely not play or practice until spring….. your fee will be $175, it will be collected when you complete the online registration process in the spring, you will not be placed on the roster now.

• Team Managers will be collecting:
• Copy of New Medical Release form
• Check made out in full to SWYSC for appropriate amount (remember multi child discount may apply so you may get a check for $175)
• Copy of Birth Certificate ONLY if player has NEVER played for SWYSC
  A NEATLY trimmed photo of the player NO LARGER than 2x2, managers…You must trim photos down before you pass on to manager.
• We will know electronically when a parent has paid by credit card…if you paid by Credit Card inform your Manager.
• A copy of the head coach’s license certificate,  or a copy of their coaching waiver. 
• This year we will remove a player from a roster if all required documents are not on time.  We will continue the process for the rest of the team and submit to CDYSL without players that have not followed procedure or submitted payment in full.

Registration deadline is set for Sept 20th. 
All players must be registered on line and paid in full.
All completed team paperwork  needs to be to the registrar by Sept.20th

HOW TO REGISTER ON LINE

• Go to saratogayouthsoccerclub.com
• Pull down “ join the club” or select "Player Registration" from the bottom menu
• Click on player registration - You will be re-directed to the Online Registration Website
• READ the welcome page of registration site
• Click large orange oval at top of welcome page to LOGIN
• Returning families will log in using email and password from last year
• New families will select “First Time?” and will create an account
• If you are registering a player look for ADD CHILDREN and click
• If you are registering as a manager, coach, or assistant coach look for ADD ADULTS and click
• Fill in required fields
• Click on save or continue
• For coach, manager, assistant coach…select role, select division, select team….if you have no one else to register (ie, a child), click check out.  If you have a child to register, click register another player and follow instructions.
• For players click BLUE register button next to players name.
• Click blue register to play button
• Select division, select team by the name of the coach
• Click continue
• READ CONSENT PAGE…these are all the commitments you are agreeing to as a parent member of the club.
• Click I agree or I don’t agree (child can not be admitted to club if you do not agree)
• Now you may register another child or you may check out.
• When checking out you may select pay by credit card or pay by check.  If you register more than one child during this log in, you will receive the multi child discount.  The discount will not apply if you register them separately. 
• Confirm order
• Go to club web site to download new medical release form.
