The SWYSC Saratoga United, U14A Girls went on to win the 2nd Round of the State Cup this past Sunday April 13th in Putnum County against the JPSC Flames 2 -0. They now advance to Round 3 and have won the home field advantage.
They will play on April 27, 2008 1:00pm at Gavin Park against Washingtonville. Come watch the excitment!

Dear Saratoga Wilton Youth Soccer Families:
I write to you as we begin the 2008-09 travel season to talk frankly about three major issues facing the Club:
1) the quality of our soccer product—what we provide our players/teams and how well they progress,
2) the cost of enhancing quality and success, and
3) the importance of increasing our volunteer base, especially in terms of fundraising. Below, I discuss each of these issues and provide our plans for addressing them.
We are in the process of putting together the coaching staff for next year. Below is the Application Form for the Saratoga Wilton Youth Soccer Club.

Club Skills Training Program This program is FREE to all SWYSC U10-U16 Travel Players.
What to expect? An average 50+ kids come early each Saturday to the SWYSC Skills Program. Starting with an intense warm-up with coach Miguel and Stretching with soccer mom, Christina Slade, PT the kids are split into age-based groups for skills training - each week as brought a different set of skills stations from club coaches and trainers. .. All seem to have fun!!!
Our club trainer Miguel Hoyos, Coaches Peter MacDonald, Skip Parry, Rob Blunt, Joe Powers, John Marko, Stephanie and Jeff Geller each shared their skills and experience with our club players in this sessions. Our newest area is our special GOALIE camp with U11Girls Coach Susie and Juergen Klingenberg who run a full two hour goalie station...
Next Session will be Saturday, September 27th, at 8:00am sharp.
We are now in the process of registering PLAYERS, MANAGERS, COACHES, and ASSISTANT COACHESfor the 2008-2009 Travel soccerseason.All registrations MUST be done on line by a parent.The only form that needs to be downloaded this year is the NEW MEDICAL RELEASE FORM.
Once again this year, the Saratoga Youth Soccer Club is running a donation program during the May Day tournament to benefit a Grassroots soccer program in the Dominican Republic.
Last year, nearly one hundred pairs of cleats were collected and donated. This year, we are hoping to up our quota.
